Here's what working
with us actually looks like
Most people who reach out to a financial advisor don't know what to expect. That's completely normal — and it's part of why the first step feels hard. We've built our process to be simple, unhurried, and human. No pressure, no jargon, no stack of forms on day one. Just a conversation.
The First Conversation
Reach out and we’ll schedule a time to talk — at your home, a local coffee shop, our office, or by phone or video. There’s no prep required and no commitment involved. We just want to hear what’s on your mind and make sure we’re a good fit for each other.
Typical length: 30–45 minutes.Getting the Full Picture
If we decide to move forward, we go deeper. We’ll gather information about your current accounts, income, expenses, goals, tax situation, and anything else that’s relevant. We ask questions most advisors don’t — because a good plan requires understanding your whole life, not just your portfolio.
We handle the coordination. You don’t need to have everything organized before we start.Your Plan
We build a written financial plan tailored to your situation and walk you through every recommendation — in plain language. We explain the reasoning behind each decision, answer every question, and make sure you understand and agree with the path forward before anything is implemented.
No black boxes. No “just trust us.” You’ll understand your own plan.Implementation
Once you’re ready to move forward, we handle the logistics. We coordinate account transfers, work alongside your CPA and estate attorney, and make sure all the pieces get put in place — without you having to manage a dozen different conversations at once.
We work with the professionals you already trust, or can refer you to ones we know.An Ongoing Partnership
A financial plan isn’t a document you file away. Life changes — and your plan should too. We schedule regular reviews, reach out proactively when something in the market or tax law affects your situation, and stay available when you have questions between meetings.
You’ll never wonder if your advisor is still paying attention. You’ll always know who you’re talking to
We’re a two-person team, which means you work directly with Eric or Brianna — not a junior associate, not a call center. Eric holds the CFP® certification and Brianna holds the CDFA® certification, which means our advice covers your full financial picture, not just your investment account.
And because we’re part of Baird, we have access to dedicated specialists in tax planning, estate planning, and insurance — resources most independent advisors can’t offer. You get the personal touch of a small practice backed by the depth of a national firm.
